Job Summary
The role is responsible for improving or developing new products, components, systems, or processes. This role ensures that engineering methodologies meet scientific and industry standards, and supports the organization in achieving technical, functional, and cost targets.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the production engineer team to finish daily job, like routing creation, trouble shooting, tools design, Lean implementation, quality improvement and cost reduction.
- Identify order requirements and release to different functions.
- Mechanical trouble shooting and Root cause analysis.
- Tools design/selection/preparation for different orders and products.
- Working with different team to solve production problems and providing pump application issue RRCA related to workshop.
- Supporting testing team to solve vibration, seal and bearing failure issues with root cause analysis.
- Routing creation according to different product type, technical requirement and customer specifications.
- Communicate with other departments like ORE, Tendering/Sales, Quality, Procurement, PM and ect. for problem solving, manufacture process improvement and costing reduction.
Qualifications
At least 5-8 years working experience in mechanical industry, pump industry is preferred.
Familiar with API standard.
Familiar with pump products and manufacturing process.
Good English in written and oral.
Skill in Autodesk CAD, Inventor or NX software.
