Your Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for distribution clients.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
- Understand and anticipate client needs, ensuring their requirements are met efficiently.
Account Management:
- Manage a portfolio of distribution accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review performance, address concerns, and identify new opportunities.
- Prepare and present detailed account status reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Upsell and cross-sell distribution products and services to meet client needs.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the distribution business.
Operational Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal teams, including logistics, warehousing, and supply chain, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
- Oversee distribution processes to ensure they align with client expectations and company standards.
- Resolve any issues related to order fulfillment, delivery schedules, or product quality promptly.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage account budgets, ensuring profitability.
- Monitor account performance and implement strategies to improve financial outcomes.
- Handle client billing, invoicing, and manage account receivables.
Market Analysis and Strategic Planning:
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and client needs.
- Develop strategic plans to enhance client results and optimize distribution processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis and client feedback.
Your Profile
- Bachelor Degree or above, preferably in food science related majors;
- 8+ years B2B sales experience in food & beverage industry, preferably familiar with beverage and/or dairy customers in assigned region;
- Experience in distributor management;
- Leadership experience would be a plus;
- Chinese native speaker with written English ability.
- This position can be based in Shanghai or homebased in northern/southern China.
