About the role
This role is responsible for driving the execution of trade marketing programs across national distributor channels, translating brand strategy into effective in-market delivery. It ensures strong alignment between Marketing and Sales, supporting key initiatives such as NPD launches, promotions, and channel development to achieve commercial success.
Trade Marketing & Channel Execution
- Develop, manage, and execute “in full & on time, with excellence” all BTL elements of key brand programs
- Adapt core brand campaigns into effective trade and distributor channel execution plans
- Deliver all non-ATL brand content, including POS materials, trade presenters, and channel-specific assets
- Ensure strong and consistent execution across national distributors (e.g., COFCO, C&D, Vats, LJLJ) and related networks
- Support potential expansion into e-commerce platforms and national retail channels
Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement
- Develop go-to-market strategies for key initiatives (e.g., NPD launches, online promotions, store renovations on e-commerce platforms)
- Define clear success metrics and execution plans to support sales delivery
- Lead communication and engagement with Sales teams on key portfolio initiatives
- Develop compelling selling stories and ensure delivery of all relevant sales communication touchpoints
- Provide input into key portfolio initiatives and annual brand planning from a sales and channel perspective
Program Management & Optimization
- Develop and execute ad hoc and “off-plan” digital and trade marketing programs
- Manage and execute sponsorship leverage programs to maximize brand and commercial impact
- Closely monitor program execution, capture learnings, and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure high standards of execution across all activities
Budget & Agency Management
- Manage A&P budgets for assigned projects, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient allocation
- Manage and nurture agency relationships (e.g., event, production) to deliver best-in-class execution and innovative ideas
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Digital, etc.) to ensure alignment and execution excellence
- Act as a key interface between brand strategy and channel execution
Governance & Capability Building
- Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards, and guidelines (including CSR, Risk Management, Health & Safety)
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and personal development
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 8 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Channel Marketing, Sales, or a related commercial function, preferably within FMCG, beverage, wine & spirits, or premium consumer goods industries.
- Strong understanding of trade marketing, distributor management, and route-to-market execution.
- Proven experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, promotional programs, and product launch initiatives.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, and external partners.
- Commercial minded with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
