Executive Summary
- We are seeking a strategic and highly experienced General Manager of Sourcing & Merchandising to lead our global product lifecycle. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for bridging the gap between creative vision and operational excellence. You will oversee the end-to-end process—from initial trend analysis and assortment planning to vendor negotiation and final production readiness—ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, margin, and sustainability.
Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Merchandising & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive merchandising strategy that aligns with brand identity and financial targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor landscapes, and historical sales data to optimize category performance.
- Oversee seasonal assortment planning, ensuring a balanced mix of core products and high-growth innovation.
2. Global Sourcing & Supply Chain Optimization
- Lead the China sourcing strategy, diversifying the vendor base to mitigate risk and improve lead times.
- Identify, vet, and manage strategic partnerships with manufacturers and raw material suppliers.
- Implement rigorous Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) management to maximize gross margins without compromising product integrity.
3. Operational Excellence & Quality Control
- Establish and maintain industry-leading production and products that meet the company Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) protocols.
- Monitor production calendars to ensure 100% on-time delivery across all product categories.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, ensuring all partners comply with ethical sourcing standards and environmental regulations.
4. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team across Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production departments - based in China (Shanghai, Shenzhen) and Philippines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure organizational alignment.
- Present quarterly performance metrics and long-term strategic roadmaps to the executive leadership team.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 12+ years in merchandising and global sourcing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (GM level).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of retail math, P&L management, and complex margin analysis.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of negotiating high-volume contracts and navigating international trade regulations.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software, ERP systems, and data visualization tools.

- 与设计、销售、市场及财务团队紧密合作,确保业务目标一致。
- 向公司管理层汇报季度业绩及长期发展战略。
任职资格工作经验
- 12年以上商品管理及全球采购相关经验。
- 至少5年以上高级管理岗位经验(总经理级别)。
教育背景
- 本科及以上学历,商业管理、商品管理、供应链管理或相关专业。
- 拥有MBA学位者优先考虑。
财务能力
- 熟悉零售数据分析、损益管理(P&L)及利润率分析。
商务谈判能力
- 具备大型采购合同谈判经验。
- 熟悉国际贸易法规及跨国采购流程。
技术能力
- 熟练使用PLM(产品生命周期管理)系统、ERP系统及数据分析工具。
优先考虑条件
- 具备服装、消费品、快速消费品(FMCG)或消费电子行业经验。
