Introduction
We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to join our growing Automotive team and manage in-vehicle navigation and connected services projects for OEM customers. As a Project Manager, you will support the end-to-end delivery of software projects from planning to SOP and maintenance releases, working closely with customers, and internal teams.

Description
As a Project Manager in Telenav, you will work closely with external and internal departments, focusing on initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects that support the company vision and strategy. You will coordinate day-to-day project activities, track progress and risks, and ensure that project information is transparent and aligned across all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Fully understand OEM customer milestones and requirements, and support the development and maintenance of Telenav project schedules to meet key delivery dates.

Coordinate internal cross-functional teams to execute project activities according to plan, including requirement clarification, development, testing, and release.

Track project progress against scope, schedule, and quality targets, highlight deviations, and support Sr. PM and leadership in making corrective decisions.

Support the management of scope changes and effort estimation, ensuring updates are properly reflected in plans, JIRA, and communication to stakeholders.

Ensure alignment between all project team members, considering that teams may be distributed across different sites and time zones.

Help team members correctly use agreed frameworks (e.g. Scrum) and project management tools (e.g. JIRA) in their daily work.

Guide the team towards a transparent and self-organizing way of working by maintaining clear backlogs, boards, and status tracking.

Prepare and deliver project status updates and reports to internal departments and external clients, tailored to the information needs of each audience.

Build positive professional relationships with clients and associates through clear communication, responsiveness, and reliable follow-up.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Experience working with globally distributed teams, with fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process.

Minimum 3 years of relevant and proven work experience in project management; automotive or embedded software project experience is a plus.

Experience with project management tools, especially JIRA, and good practices for managing tasks, backlogs, and releases.

Good cross-functional communication and influence skills, comfortable working with teams in different functions and locations.

Good planning and organizing skills with analytical and critical thinking, able to manage day-to-day details while keeping track of overall project goals.

Notes: Knowledge of ASPICE (Automotive Software Process) is a strong plus but not a must.
