Provide emergency and routine technical support to customers facing membrane-related challenges, including on-site troubleshooting and remote guidance.
Support customers in membrane production, conduct on-site assessments to identify potential root cause of performance gaps for further optimization.
Monitor and validate industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory requirements related to membrane market to ensure technical support compliance and competitiveness.
Identify potential new opportunities with targeted customers and bridge technical communication between customers and internal team to translate the VOCs to clear material CTQs, support R&I on solution development and customers’ evaluation.
Document and report technical data including trial reports, technical promotion package, regular team reports…
Deliver technical seminars or training to customers and internal stakeholders on materials for membrane, new membrane technology or application.
Support market intelligent analysis through benchmarking studies, clearly understanding how material properties influencing membrane processing and performance. Develop value propositions with marketing to share with customers/market.
Master’s degree in Chemistry engineering, Material science, Environmental engineering or a related technical field. Doctor’s Degree is a plus.
5+ years of technical support or research experience in membrane related field or Specialty Polymers.
Profound understanding of membrane principles, formulation, processing technology, and specific membrane performance for targeted markets.
Strong polymer background
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills-able to diagnose complex issues under pressure.
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal cross-functional teams with strong influencing skills.
Highly motivative, cooperative and teamworking
Strong business acumen (customer-oriented mindset)
High mobility: 50~70% travel
