We are looking for experienced FEA Meshing Support Engineers to support finite element model development and pre-processing activities. The role involves creating high-quality meshes, preparing simulation-ready models, and working closely with structural analysts to meet project timelines.

Create high-quality 2D and 3D finite element meshes using HyperMesh and ANSA

Develop FE models for:

Sheet metal components
-
Weldments
-
Castings
-
Structural assemblies
-
Perform:
-
Geometry cleanup
-
Defeaturing
-
Midsurface extraction
-
Ensure:
-
Mesh quality and element connectivity
-
Compatibility with solvers (ABAQUS / NASTRAN)
-
Prepare simulation-ready FE models including:
-
Material assignment
-
Property definitions
-
Contact and boundary condition setup (as per analyst guidance)
-
Support:
-
Sub-modeling
-
Mesh refinement studies
-
Work with Pro-E / CREO models for meshing preparation
-
Review CAD designs and identify meshing or manufacturability issues
-
Follow industry and client-specific meshing standards
-
Perform mesh validation and pre-checks before analysis handover
-
Work closely with onshore/offshore structural analysis teams
-
Incorporate feedback and update FE models accordingly

Maintain proper version control and documentation

Strong hands-on experience in:

HyperMesh
-
ANSA Meshing
-
Basic knowledge of:

ABAQUS / NASTRAN

Exposure to CFD tools (FLUENT / STAR-CCM+) is an added advantage

Good understanding of:

Welded assemblies

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Aerospace Engineering or related field
