As a Operational Buyer , your mission is to [briefly describe the main mission]. You will report to [Supply Operations Manager ].
You will
- Execute daily operational purchasing activities, including purchase order creation, tracking, and follow-up
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods/services to meet business requirements
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (supply chain, production, finance, etc.) to align on demand and priorities
- Manage supplier communication, including order confirmation, delivery schedules, and issue resolution
- Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing data in SAP (e.g., purchase orders, vendor master data, pricing)
- Identify and resolve operational issues proactively to minimize supply disruptions
- Support compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Participate in business travel (approx. 25%) for supplier visits, audits, or internal coordination

You have X - X years of experience, working as a XY
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operational buying or procurement within a similar industry
- Strong hands-on experience working with SAP (MM module or equivalent)
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end purchasing activities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with supplier management and logistics processes
- Experience working in multinational or structured procurement environments is a plus
