About the Role
JLL is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making for our clients and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for monitoring macroeconomic trends, conducting rigorous market research, and leveraging data platforms to support product development. Key Responsibilities
Macroeconomic Data Collection & Analysis: Monitor and collect macroeconomic data focusing on urban economy indicators, demographic statistics, and broader commercial real estate market trends.Analyze the impact of macro-level shifts on local and regional real estate dynamics to provide context for market forecasts.
Market Research & Data Gathering: Gather comprehensive commercial real estate statistics and track relevant industry news to maintain up-to-date market intelligence.Conduct on-site research, primary data collection, and client interviews to validate data accuracy and gather qualitative insights.Ensure data integrity by cross-referencing multiple sources and maintaining rigorous quality control standards.
Segment-Specific Research & Forecasting: Take charge of deep-dive research on designated real estate segments (e.g., Office, Industrial, Retail, Residential).Perform data gathering, sorting, and advanced analysis to identify patterns and anomalies.Develop and maintain market trend forecasts, providing clear narratives on supply, demand, rental rates, and vacancy trends.
Data Integration & Product Support: Integrate internal proprietary data with external third-party resources to create holistic datasets.Collaborate with technical teams to support new product development based on existing data analysis platforms.Optimize data workflows to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of analytical outputs used in client-facing solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
3-8 years of experience in data analysis, market research, or commercial real estate research.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, Python, or R.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals and macroeconomic indicators.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
