The Recipe for Success: Role Summary
The Group Legal Counsel of Greater China is responsible for providing practical, commercially focused legal advice and support to the businesses and operations across the Greater China region (China, Hong Kong and Taiwan), which constitutes the primary scope of the role. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted business partner to management and cross-functional teams, ensuring that legal risks are appropriately managed while supporting the business’s strategic and commercial objectives.
In addition to Greater China responsibilities, the role may, from time to time, provide legal support on selected matters arising in other jurisdictions across Asia, particularly in relation to cross-border projects, regional initiatives, or where additional legal resources are required. Such support may be provided directly or through collaboration with other members of the Group Legal team.
The ideal candidate is a mature and commercially minded legal professional with strong technical expertise, sound judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
