In this role, you will work in a lab environment, using your engineering and scientific knowledge, along with top-end equipments, to figure out the root cause of electrical failures of Apple products. You will also be responsible for recommending corrective actions and presenting the findings to global teams and executives.","responsibilities":"Understanding the failure background and designing creative investigation plans
Conducting the investigation, including but not limited to operating a variety of advanced electrical fault isolation tools
Reporting your findings and engaging in discussion and debate with colleagues on next steps, conclusions, and corrective actions

Preferred Qualifications
Specific failure analysis expertise in any of the following fields: mother boards, electronics components, semiconductor devices, semiconductor manufacturing, or PCB manufacturing
Adaptability to fast-paced environment and shifting work scope to meet business needs, with a strong aptitude for learning new techniques
Material analysis tools experience such as SEM, FTIR, FIB
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
Willingness to collaborate closely across organizations
Software coding experience in AI/ML
Minimum Qualifications
PhD or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Materials/Chemical Science, or a related field
Experience in electrical design or failure analysis related to consumer electronics, semiconductors
Hands-on experience with at least one advanced failure analysis/debug tools, such as Oscilloscope, Lock-in Thermography (LIT), OBIRCH, EMMI, SAT, nano probe, etc.
Fluent in English with strong communication skills, including the ability to seek direction, listen to feedback, and convey complex findings concisely and understandably
