Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operation Intern to support the PDS Operations team in China. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real estate project operations, data analysis, and process optimization. You will assist in maintaining operational efficiency, supporting project documentation, and contributing to internal reporting initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Support & Data ManagementAssist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing operational data related to ongoing PDS projects (e.g., project pipeline status, resource allocation, financial milestones).
Maintain and update internal databases and tracking tools (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, or proprietary project management software) to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Support the preparation of weekly/monthly operational reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
2. Process Optimization & DocumentationHelp document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for project delivery.
Assist in identifying bottlenecks in current operational workflows and propose preliminary solutions under supervision.
Organize and archive project documents, contracts, and correspondence in compliance with company policies.
3. Cross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate with project managers, cost consultants, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for operational reviews.
Support the coordination of internal meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
Assist in the onboarding process for new team members or interns by preparing training materials and resource guides.
4. Ad-hoc ProjectsConduct market research or benchmarking studies as requested by the leadership team.
Support special initiatives related to digital transformation, sustainability reporting, or client presentations.
QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to analyze data and derive insights. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic macros) is essential.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and document review.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English. Ability to present information clearly and professionally.
Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with PowerPoint for presentation creation. Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is a plus.
