Drive product engineering and maintenance activities

Contribute to innovative, fast and effective response mechanism to product maintenance and modification in relation to variants, quality and cost reduction
Your main responsibilities:
Product maintenance and variant creation

Drive and Participate in the technical performance of engineering projects

Use new technologies, research know-how, and technology platforms in relation to engineering and maintenance activities

Use standardized and measurable development methods in engineering activities
- Work to achieve the specified requirements in the engineering process

Product cost analyses
-
Contact relevant stakeholders in relation to engineering activities
-
Ensure that quality, functionality and production costs meet the specified requirements.

Assist/act as project manager on smaller engineering projects
-
Accomplish design- and Construction tasks
Test
- Observe demands and perform tests in compliance with relevant norms and product approval standards
-
Plan and conduct tests and laboratory tasks
-
Work out test descriptions, test result analysis, handle specification and follow-up on tests for clarification of technical problems
Documentation
-
Prepare documentation in compliance with the product producing process
-
Ensure documentation of the technical development in design journals
-
Assist on product approvals
What do you need to apply?
We expect you have:

Engineer degree Master or Bachelor or similar education
-
Technical knowledge with product development
-
5-10 years relevant experience
-
Proficient English – verbal and written
-
Understanding manufacturing process and technology is a plus
