We are seeking a Strategic Program Manager to serve as the right hand of the Sales General Manager (GM), driving strategic planning, business rhythm excellence, and cross-functional alignment across Enterprise Greenfield and SMB sales organizations. This is not a traditional program management role — you will be a strategic thought partner who shapes the sales strategy, ensures flawless execution, and represents the GM's intent across the organization.
Key job responsibilities
You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution — translating the GM's vision into actionable plans, building the operating cadence that keeps the team on track, and serving as the GM's trusted proxy in cross-organizational engagement. Success in this role requires business acumen, executive communication skills, and the ability to influence without authority.
1. Sales Strategy Development & Iteration
Partner with the GM to formulate and articulate the sales strategy, including market prioritization, coverage model optimization, and growth bets
Continuously monitor execution against strategic intent; surface insights, identify gaps, and propose course corrections through a data-driven approach
Lead the annual/quarterly planning cycle in collaboration with Sales Operations — translating corporate guidance into segment-specific plans
Synthesize market signals, competitive intelligence, and internal performance data to refine the strategy iteratively
2. Business Review Preparation & Facilitation
Own the end-to-end operating rhythm: design, prepare, and facilitate Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR) for senior leadership
Develop high-quality narratives and executive docs with compelling, data-backed insights
Ensure reviews drive decisions, not just status updates — frame the "so what," identify trade-offs, and recommend actions
Manage robust follow-up mechanisms on action items; track progress and hold teams accountable
3. Cross-Functional Coordination & GM Representation
Serve as the GM's representative in cross-organizational forums
Align stakeholders around shared priorities; resolve conflicts and remove blockers on behalf of the GM
Drive key strategic initiatives end-to-end — from scoping through execution to retrospective
Act as an internal consultant: help teams think through business problems, communication strategies, and escalation paths
4. Strategic Intelligence & Special Projects for non-linear growth
Identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive threats; translate them into actionable recommendations
Lead or support internal press release reviews and strategic narratives for new initiatives
Drive ad-hoc projects at the GM's direction — e.g., org design analysis, talent strategy inputs, customer escalation coordination
