We are looking for an English EAL Teacher for an international school based in Wuxi, Jiangsu province. This is a full-time position starting from the August 2026 academic year.

Job responsibilities

Teach the subject of English as an additional language to secondary school students utilizing the IGCSE framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience

Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments

Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum

Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve

Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Develop supportive and safe learning environments
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred

CELTA/DELTA or Language degree AND formal EAL qualification or other relevant degree

Excited about teaching EAL learners throughout the age-range of G9-12

2+ years of good quality post-qualification experience including IGCSE EAL
