A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an quality control inspector at MSD, you will partner with quality and manufacturing to ensure product quality. In this role, you will report to the Supv, Quality.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Complete tasks related to setting annual goals.
- Be responsible for quality inspection and verification of incoming materials, raw material processing, and product assembly to ensure compliance with technical requirements, and maintain relevant inspection records.
- Be proficient in using measuring tools for product quality control.
- Correctly identify, label, and isolate nonconforming products.
- Participate in root cause analysis of quality issues and the development of corrective actions, and track the implementation of these actions.
- Maintain relevant quality records in a timely and accurate manner, perform data analysis, and follow up on improvement efforts.
- Participate in the establishment and implementation of the process quality system.
- Participate in the development or updating of any safety operating procedures.
- Fulfill HSE-S responsibilities in accordance with the “HSE-S Responsibility Commitment Letter.”
- Perform other duties assigned by superiors.
- Travel Requirements: Up to 5 % of Travel is required.
Skills You Bring:
- Technology high school degree or above.
- Experience related to mechanical and electrical production work,3 plus years working experience in quality control is preferred.
- Familiar with metal or plastic processing & assembly process.
- Proficient in using job-related measuring tools.
- Be familiar with quality control methods.
- Be familiar with mechanical drawings.
- Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication skills.
