Role description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Officer to support and coordinate IT operations across multiple regional sites. This role involves managing day-to-day IT operations, ensuring consistent end-user support, and aligning regional IT practices with corporate standards. The ideal candidate will assist in managing IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and supporting end-users while contributing to strategic IT initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing the IT operations across assigned regional offices, including infrastructure, systems, and user support, ensuring consistent service delivery and system reliability.
Assist in managing IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Participate in change & configuration management, problem management, and service improvement initiatives.
Monitor service desk performance and ensure adherence to SLAs and customer satisfaction targets.
Analyze recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce incidents and enhance service delivery.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and IT services.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and data protection standards.
Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery protocols are in place and effective.
Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
Travel to regional offices as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise IT Infrastructure Management, End User Service Management and Project Management.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience of working on project delivery, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and manage projects across various regions.
Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Power Automate, PowerShell, Python).
Good knowledge of network architecture, server management (e.g. Windows), storage management, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google).
Understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Experience in Google, AWS or other Cloud support including monitoring is a plus.
Fluent of English, good command Mandarin and Cantonese languages; both spoken and written.
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, ITIL, PMP) are an advantage.
