Job Description

Conduct piping stress analysis & flexibility calculation for process piping, utility piping, fire water, LNG cryogenic piping and high-pressure offshore piping systems using professional software.

Complete static and dynamic stress analysis, seismic analysis, wind load analysis, nozzle load check, equipment nozzle compatibility verification and pipe expansion/contraction study.

Design and optimize pipe support, anchor, guide, stopper layout; resolve stress overload, displacement and vibration issues of piping systems.

Prepare stress calculation reports, stress isometric drawings, support detail drawings and technical calculation documents in accordance with project requirements.

Strictly comply with international standards: ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, DNV, ABS, API, ISO and client project specifications.

Review piping GA drawing, isometric drawing, material specification and vendor piping design document; provide professional stress review comments.

Solve technical problems during workshop fabrication, module assembly and offshore site installation; provide onsite technical support and stress scheme adjustment.

Lead technical coordination with process, mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation, vendor and third-party inspection teams.

Mentor junior piping stress engineers, standardize calculation templates, optimize work process and improve team technical capability.

Track project milestone, deliver stress packages on time, and participate in technical bid review and proposal technical preparation.
Qualifications

Bachelor or above degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, Marine Engineering, Chemical Process Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 6–8 years piping stress engineering experience, with solid background in offshore oil & gas, FPSO, topside module, LNG or shipbuilding industry.

Proficient in stress analysis software: CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, Bentley Pipe Stress etc.

In-depth knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.1, DNV-ST rules, classification society requirements and offshore piping engineering practice.

Familiar with offshore piping material standard, cryogenic piping design, high-pressure piping and equipment nozzle load limitation requirements.

Capable of independently completing full set of stress analysis, report output and technical problem solving without supervision.

Good command of written and spoken English, able to understand international specs, communicate with foreign clients and vendors, and deliver English technical reports.

Familiar with marine/offshore project design workflow, module fabrication and site construction process.

Strong logical thinking, communication skill, project coordination ability and pressure resistance; able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
