This role requires good organizational/coordination skills and management of topsides Equipment Package (e.g. Gas Turbine Generator, Gas Turbine or Electrical Motor driven Compressors, Water Injection Pumps, Combined Cycle, WHRU, Vapour Recovery Compressor, Metering, EICT and etc). Direct contact with the client, EPC contractor and equipment vendors will be necessary. The principle role of the Topsides Package Manager is to:
- Award and ensure delivery against topsides equipment contracts.
- Progress monitoring to ensure all package deliverables are delivered in timely manner.
- Ensure contractors/vendors submit documents as per Supplier Master Document Register (SMDR).
- Plan, define and manage equipment delivery (mechanically complete), as well as their timely issuance to support integration activities.
- Provide contractual and administrative support to the Site Managers, Integration Managers, Commissioning Managers and Pre-Ops.
- Ensure integration of Yinson free-issued equipment into the topsides modules by contractors.
- Work closely with Vendor field service representative for all package integration, pre-com and commissioning as well as equipment start-up matters.
- To follow up and manage procurement activities (such as purchase, goods receiving and etc).
- Monitor compliance with Client basis of design, project and corporate specifications (supported by engineering team).
- Prepare, interface with client and maintain a deviation request list with regards to all Client specifications (supported by engineering team).
- Manage variation orders with close coordination with commercial teams, procurement, project cost control, Topsides delivery Manager and Project Manager.
- Monitor that all contractors and vendors meet the contractual, regulatory compliance, classification society and technical requirements related to topsides engineering (supported by engineering team).
- Close liaison with engineering team and topsides package engineers.
- Provide management support during construction, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning, through to start-up, and including during operating regime.
- Ensure contract close out in complete manner.
- Travel as required, including but not limited to module yards & shipyards in other locations may be required.
Requirements
- Degree in any Engineering disciplines
- Able to write Technical Reports
- Experience in delivering Min 2 FPSO projects
- Experienced in delivery of Topsides Modules (8-10 years)
- Proven experience of project management
