Job Summary
In this role, you will design, develop and maintain enterprise applications and AI-enabled solutions, with a strong focus on backend engineering, system integration and cloud-based application development.
You will work closely with solution architects, business teams and technology partners to translate business requirements and architecture designs into secure, reliable and maintainable software. You will also help identify common engineering capabilities across projects and contribute to reusable components, services and development practices.
This role is suited to an experienced software engineer with strong hands-on engineering skills, solid experience in enterprise application development and integration, and an interest in applying modern AI technologies to real business scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test and maintain enterprise applications, backend services and APIs.
Build and maintain integrations between internal platforms, SaaS solutions, CRM, content platforms, WeCom/WeChat and other enterprise systems.
Translate architecture and solution designs into scalable, secure and maintainable production implementations.
Develop AI-enabled application capabilities using technologies such as LLMs, enterprise search, RAG, agents, tool calling and structured output where appropriate.
Participate in cloud application development and deployment on AWS and Microsoft Azure, including containerized and serverless workloads.
Troubleshoot application, integration and production issues across multiple systems, working with infrastructure, security and external technology teams when required.
Identify common technical capabilities across projects and contribute to reusable components, services and engineering standards.
Apply software engineering best practices including code review, automated testing, source control, CI/CD, logging and monitoring.
Use modern AI-assisted development tools to improve software delivery productivity while maintaining appropriate engineering quality, security and code ownership.
Skill Requirements
Strong backend development experience with at least one major enterprise technology stack, preferably C#/.NET or Java/Spring Boot.
Working proficiency in Python for application development, integration, automation or AI-related use cases.
Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs and integrating applications with external or enterprise systems.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server or similar technologies.
Good understanding of software engineering practices including Git, automated testing, code review and CI/CD.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Linux and cloud-based application environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues across application, integration and infrastructure boundaries.
Ability to understand technical documentation in English and collaborate effectively with cross functional and global technology teams.
Other Requirements
Experience developing production applications using LLMs, RAG, agents, tool calling, vector search or AI search technologies.
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
Experience with the WeCom/WeChat ecosystem, including enterprise applications, OAuth, messaging, callbacks, H5 or Mini Programs.
Experience with Vue.js, TypeScript or other modern frontend technologies.
Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SSO, JWT, Webhooks, event-driven integration or API gateways.
Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft or similar technologies.
Experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code or similar tools as part of software development workflows.
Experience working in pharmaceutical, healthcare or other regulated industries is a plus
