Job Title: Senior CMP Field Service / Technical Lead
Location: Shanghai
Position Description: Located in Shanghai to mainly focus on CMP pad engagements and issue handling for semiconductor customers in China.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve complex performance challengesAct as thetechnical expert to diagnose and close critical product/process gaps, working cross-functionally with R, quality, and manufacturing to driveroot cause investigation.
- Drive product adoption at key accountsPartner with sales to lead advanced product positioning, technical discussions, and customer demos to accelerate qualification and wins.
- Provide competitive and technology insightsOrganize regulartechnical sharing to deliver structured insights on CMP industry trends, CMP pad products, and application know-how sharing to drive deep technical value and new business opportunities.
- Build deep customer intimacyEngage attechnical decision-maker level (process owners, integration leads) to strengthen strategic partnerships and expand footprint.
- Ensure high responsiveness in critical situationsStrongOwnership mindset with high accountability under pressure. Lead urgent on-site support for escalations, ensuring rapid recovery and customer confidence.
- Lead quality and yield improvement initiativesProactively identify risks and drive improvements to meet tight customer specs and next-node requirements.
- Own customer implementation& scalingLead CMP pad& slurry integration from trial to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring stable process performance and yield impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above inEngineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry
- ≥5 years of hands-on CMP technical experience in semiconductor industry
- Strong expertise inCMP process, pad/slurry interaction, and integration challenges
- Proven track record incustomer-facing technical roles (FAE / Application / Process)
- Fluent inMandarin and English
- Proficient inExcel, Word, PowerPoint
- Result-driven withstrong execution discipline
- Ability toprioritize and manage multiple complex projects
