Summary: Responsible for all aspects of automatic machinery design to meet customer and company specifications. Retrofit existing manufacturing processes to develop automated machines, application drawings, bills of materials and other related items to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective equipment. Provide training to others as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the automatic upgrading and transformation of existing production processes, production line stations, and equipment processes, and designing automation solutions for manual operations, inefficient stations, and repetitive processes to improve the efficiency, yield, and safety of production lines.
- Connect with process engineers and production departments to investigate on-site process bottlenecks, operation processes and quality pain points, and formulate feasibility plans, cycle time planning, cost assessment and implementation plans for automation transformation.
- Complete PLC program writing, debugging and optimization (Siemens/Mitsubishi/Omron, etc.), including servo, stepper, cylinder, solenoid valve, sensor logic control, to realize automatic loading and unloading, positioning, assembly, detection, circulation and other actions of equipment.
- Responsible for electrical circuit design, wiring planning, control cabinet drawing, and cooperating with mechanical engineers to complete the joint commissioning of automatic structures such as tooling fixtures, transplanting mechanisms, and manipulators.
- Responsible for on-site equipment debugging, process parameter optimization, solving on-site problems such as operation lag, alarm, insufficient cycle time, yield fluctuation, etc., and ensuring stable mass production of equipment after transformation.
- Docking with industrial communication (Profinet/EtherCAT/Modbus), touch screen configuration, and MES data collection to realize the upload and traceability of equipment status and process data.
- Prepare automation equipment operation instructions, maintenance manuals, and process specifications, and conduct operation and maintenance training for production personnel.
- Follow up the progress of the project, control the quality of the transformation, and be responsible for equipment acceptance, closed-loop problems and continuous optimization in the later stage.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, measurement and control technology, industrial engineering and other related majors.
- Familiar with the production process of the manufacturing industry and experience in production line automation transformation, station automation upgrade, and non-standard equipment commissioning is preferred.
- Have ability to understand the process and be able to design automation solutions based on process requirements, considering the production cycle time, product yield, and operation convenience.
- Have good on-site problem-solving skills, communication and coordination skills, be able to independently promote the implementation of automation transformation projects, adapt to workshop on-site operations, and obey project travel arrangements.
- Proficient in at least one mainstream PLC programming, proficient in servo, frequency converter, sensor selection and control logic; Be able to understand electrical drawings, and have ability to wire, debug and troubleshoot on site.
- Those who understand industrial communication, HMI configuration, simple visual inspection, and tooling and fixture design ideas are preferred.
- Hold a low-voltage electrician certificate
