Job Overview
The Purchaser is responsible for processing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating closely with internal stakeholders to meet operational requirements. The role also ensures supply chain continuity and compliance with company procurement policies and supports continuous improvement in the supply chain process.

Purchaser’s Role:
-
Create the Purchase Requisition in the system according to the requirements on weekly/monthly basis; Working with planner for the sub-contractor arrangement;

Purchasing of raw material (domestic and overseas purchasing of steel, hard metal buttons, Rock drill parts etc.), purchasing of production spare parts (tools, fixture, package material, stationery etc.)
Purchasing Management:
- Check and confirm the purchasing requisition; Release the PR on time;

Work out purchase order according to purchasing requisition from user and confirmed by supplier as well. Feedback to end user delivery time and min order quantity.
- Follow up purchase order or contract to ensure on time delivery.

Cooperate with vendor and end user to solve problems such as stock run out, quality problems, etc.

Follow up receiving, invoice and payment.
- Cooperate with other team member to improve purchasing management.
Vendor management:
- Improve the delivery lead time of the vendor/subcontract;
Improve service and efficiency from vender through vendor assessment and management.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above
- Experience: More than 2 years’ working experience in an overseas investment company in the machining industry
- Languages: Above CET-4, fluent in written, listened and oral English

System: good command of office software and ERP systems
Physical and Environmental Conditions

Work Environment: mainly in office but periodically on-site in a manufacturing setting per need.

Experience: Requires ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
