For our Chinese Subsidiary, we are looking for an Application Engineer with a strong technical background and a customer-oriented mindset.
The successful candidate will join the Application Engineering team and work closely with the Research & Development, Quality, Sales, and Product Management departments to provide advanced support to customers and strategic partners, ensuring the effective resolution of technical requests and contributing to customer retention and long-term satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex technical inquiries remotely or on-site, ensuring compliance with agreed service levels and response times
- Analyze technical issues, understand customer requirements, propose effective solutions, and validate them with customers
- Partner with the Sales team to support customer retention and identify opportunities for expanding machine vision solutions
- Contribute to product improvement initiatives by collaborating closely with R&D, Quality, and Marketing teams
- Support the continuous optimization of technical support processes, tools, and best practices
- Deliver technical training to Sales teams and customers on products, applications, and solution implementation
- Assist in the preparation for and participation in key industry trade shows, exhibitions, and events.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics
- Experience with machine vision systems, industrial automation, or system integration is highly desirable
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to independently analyze and resolve complex industrial and application-related challenges
- Customer-focused approach, supported by excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Well-organized and results-oriented, with the ability to manage priorities effectively and meet service level and performance objectives
- Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Programming knowledge in C++, C#, or Python is considered a strong advantage
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Willingness to travel across China, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia as required
- Detail-oriented, with a mindset of continuous self-improvement and process optimization.
