We are seeking a Science (Chemistry specialism) Teacher for an international school based in Nanjing. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 school year in August 2026.

Teach Science with a specialism in Chemistry to students in secondary education, utilizing the IGCSE and A-Level curriculum to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

Plan and prepare lessons, assessments, and learning materials in line with curriculum requirements

Mark and evaluate student work, and write clear and accurate report comments

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and ongoing improvement

Assess and monitor student progress, setting clear goals to support achievement and growth

Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain clear communication with parents and caregivers

Create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment that promotes student development
Requirements

Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)

Clean criminal background check for all countries you've lived in

Meet China visa requirements: bachelor's degree plus at least two years' relevant experience

Committed to student safeguarding and willing to complete child protection training when needed
