ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Electrical engineering, electromagnetic and other specialized knowledge in the area of radio frequency transmission and reception to design and develop products for the Company. Responsible for the technical performance of RF related products, for providing technical expertise to product development teams in the RF area and for supporting the test methods required for the development of RF related products.
Job Responsibilities:
Ø Research trade publications, patents, technical papers and existing products to determine the "state of the art" of RF technology.
Ø Fabricate and test novel RF circuit, Microwave components designs for Automotive OEM customers, in different bands: AM/FM radio, DAB, GNSS, Digital TV, V2X...
Ø Characterize LNA performance by conducting electrical tests such as Gain, Noise Figure, P1dB measurements, and reception tests.
Ø Compose written reports to fully document all project activity.
Ø Prepare and deliver technical presentations to a variety of small or large groups.
Ø Work as part of an engineering design team with antenna design engineer, mechanical engineers, test engineer,and project engineers to develop new RF related products.
Ø Provide updates on project status and technological changes to the design team.
Ø Provide support and assistance to project team as needed.
Ø Support China OEM projects, fast response to customer in high quality, able to develop low cost solutions.
Ø Evaluate, recommend, and implement software and hardware to reduce cycle time and improve product development efficiency.
Ø Write research papers and patent applications, as required by the Company.
Position Requirements:
Ø Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline
Ø 3+ years RF circuit design and PCB layout experience(Automotive product design experience is perferred)
Ø Familiar with RF circuit testing equipments and setup
Ø Familiar with Circuit simulation(ADS simulation skill is preferred)
Ø Familiar with PCB layout software and generate the Gerber file( Autium Designer PCB layout skill is perferred)
Ø Excellent communication skills
Ø Ability to work well in a Team environment
Ø Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
Ø Ability to work under direct supervision and with clearly defined project steps.
