Psychological Education & Counseling Program
Establish and implement a school-wide psychological education and counseling program aligned with the school’s mission. Promote students’ holistic development—mental, emotional, social, and physical wellbeing. Ensure counseling practices follow government policies and professional standards.
Teaching & Curriculum Delivery
Provide classroom teaching in psychological health, social-emotional learning, and career education. Design lessons tailored to students’ developmental stages, individual differences, and diverse needs. Support wellbeing-related lessons (e.g., Zhihong lessons).
Student Observation & Pastoral Care
Conduct regular observations of classes and individual students. Supervise students during non-classroom periods. Promote a positive school climate that ensures safety and wellbeing.
Counseling & Psychological Assessment
Provide individual and group counseling. Evaluate students’ psychological wellbeing and development. Maintain confidential counseling records and communicate with parents when necessary.
Counseling Room & Intervention Support
Offer psychological services in the counseling room. Provide strategies for learning skills, emotional regulation, interpersonal communication, resilience, and personality development. Collaborate with external providers when additional support is needed.
Coordination & Staff Support
Guide BZRs, moral education teachers, and pastoral staff in counseling initiatives. Provide training and consultation for teachers on student wellbeing. Coordinate pastoral care, moral education, and Young Pioneers–related activities.
Home–School & Community Collaboration
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community organizations to support students’ psychological wellbeing and development.
Safeguarding & Child Protection
Promote child safety and welfare. Ensure a secure and supportive learning environment. Comply with all safeguarding policies and procedures.
Professional Development
Participate in training on safeguarding, international education philosophies, and counseling practice. Continuously enhance professional knowledge and counseling skills.
