Lime is hiring a Senior Global Sourcing Manager (Electronic Components) to join our GSM team! Reporting to the Sourcing Director. You will be a strategic leader within our Global Sourcing team, responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for critical direct categories (MCUs, memory (DDR, eMMC, Flash), Power ICs, passive components (resistors, capacitors, inductors), and other semiconductor categories.). The ideal candidate will have deep market intelligence, strong supplier relationships across Globe, and the ability to navigate volatile market conditions including shortages, allocation, and pricing volatility. This role will work closely with Engineering, Hardware, Quality, and Planning teams to ensure supply security, cost competitiveness, and long-term resilience.

This is an onsite position that requires onsite presence at our Shenzhen office to maintain effective collaboration across teams.

What You'll Do:
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for electronic components (MCU, memory, Power IC, passives) to support Lime's vehicle production and spare parts demand
Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting to achieve total cost of ownership (TCO) reduction targets
Build and maintain a robust supplier base across China, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and globally to mitigate geopolitical and supply risks
Drive dual-source and multi-source strategies for critical components to ensure supply continuity
Market Intelligence & Risk Management
Continuously monitor global semiconductor market trends, including lead times, allocation, pricing, and EOL (End-of-Life) notifications
Proactively identify supply risks (e.g., memory shortages, foundry capacity constraints) and develop mitigation plans
Lead risk-buy and last-time-buy (LTB) initiatives to secure critical components during market disruptions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Engineering and Hardware teams early in the NPI (New Product Introduction) process to influence component selection for supply chain resilience
Collaborate with Quality teams to ensure supplier compliance with Lime's quality standards (IATF 16949, PPAP, etc.)
Align with Planning and Operations teams on demand forecasts, inventory strategies, and production schedules
Supplier Relationship Management
Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and executive-level engagements with key suppliers (e.g., STMicroelectronics, Samsung, Micron, TI, Infineon, etc.)
Drive supplier performance improvement in quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness
Develop long-term partnership frameworks, including LTAs (Long-Term Agreements), VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory), and consignment programs
About You:
Integrity: Maintains the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance in all procurement activities and external stakeholder engagements.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
Experience: 8+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience, with at least 5 years focused on electronic components (MCU, memory, Power IC, passives)
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of semiconductor supply chain, including foundry, assembly, test, and distribution channels
Supplier Network: Established relationships with key semiconductor suppliers and distributors in Asia
Market Expertise: Proven experience navigating market shortages, allocation, and price volatility for electronics
Negotiation Skills: Strong track record of negotiating pricing, terms, and LTAs with global suppliers
Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken); Mandarin Chinese proficiency is highly preferred
Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within Asia or EU/America (supplier visits, factory audits, etc.)
Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration (MBA), or Engineering
Experience managing cross-border sourcing (China-Taiwan-Vietnam triangle)
Knowledge of US-China trade regulations, tariffs, and supply chain compliance
