- Act as the procurement representative in cross-functional Project Teams, support NPI, transfer, and localization projects and represent sourcing requirements and supplier input to support project realization according to the master specification.
- Represent procurement in project activities and coordinate sourcing actions with cross function teams. Enable internal stakeholders to obtain suitable goods and services through clear requirement alignment and timely procurement support.
- Prepare sourcing updates for PTM, PCM, or PSM, covering sourcing status, cost progress, risks, supplier readiness, and open action follow-up.
- Build and maintain project sourcing timelines with clear procurement milestones, supplier lead times, tooling or process readiness, and phase-by-phase deliverables.
- Support project decisions by defining cost impact, supplier selection, sourcing risks, and commercial consequences for each key project decision
- Coordinate sourcing deliverables across project phases, including RFQ, cost calculation, supplier selection, sample tracking, lead time mapping, and supplier readiness.
- Follow up supplier readiness, samples, prototypes, tooling, first parts, delivery progress and material readiness for project milestones
- Education: Bachelor degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: Relevant experience in sourcing, project procurement, supplier development; NPI, transfer or localization experience is preferred.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of RFQ, cost analysis, supplier selection, supplier qualification, project milestone follow-up and procurement compliance. Ability to understand BOM, drawings, manufacturing processes, tooling concepts, supplier capability and main cost drivers.
- Systems: Good command of Excel, PowerPoint, and common ERP or procurement systems such as SAP.
