Job Description:
This role is for a Senior Design Manager who will contribute to and execute strategies within the design team. They will be responsible for identifying and leading developments of new ideas, techniques, and procedures in the design process. The role requires a focus on one or more brands or projects with clearly defined objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Transform marketing challenges and business objectives into creative briefs, collaborating closely with the Design Director on design.

Develop design solutions that address consumer needs and business challenges through an understanding of human behavior.

Manage design projects from start to finish, including crafting briefs, strategies, success criteria, timelines, budgets, and collaboration with design agencies.

Work with cross-functional teams to integrate consumer insights and business strategies into effective design solutions.

Execute designs and collaborate with external agencies.

Stay updated on the latest trends in China and understand their impact on consumers' lives.

Partner with a multi-functional team to drive brand strategies that resonate with consumers.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in packaging design and related business contexts. Degree in Design (graphic focus) or equivalent experience.

Proficient in graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite) and knowledgeable in print production.

Ability to create designs from concept to final artwork with a strong focus on quality and aesthetics.

Strong collaboration and design skills, with experience in effectively executing design strategies that meet consumer and business needs. Excellent hands-on design skill is a must.

Creative mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment; capable of engaging and influencing senior management and cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in Mandarin and English (both verbal and written).
