Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize existing and new equipment/processes as needed
- Investigate process issues and propose productivity improvements; proactively resolve recurring process and tooling problems
- Create supporting documentation for existing process equipment in accordance with the quality system
- Design and implement processes, equipment, and documentation systems for all new projects
- Collaborate with the tooling team to coordinate the design and fabrication of small fixtures and tooling
- Resolve manufacturing issues related to equipment, processes, or design
- Review production processes and propose improvements, aiming to leverage the latest technologies to:
- Create a safer working environment
- Improve product quality
- Accelerate product delivery
- Reduce production costs
- Assist the maintenance team in troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures
- Provide professional technical guidance in the field of process engineering
- Develop processes, equipment, and tooling to support product manufacturing
- Develop/revise/upgrade process routes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and bills of materials (BOM)
- Train employees to perform assigned tasks according to work instructions
- Use problem-solving tools to analyze customer complaints and production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with production managers to optimize plant layout and maximize the use of space and resources
Qualifications& Skills
- Familiar with die-cutting manufacturing processes
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, with hands-on experience in lean manufacturing on the production floor
- Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork, with solid cost awareness and quality awareness
- Proficient in the practical application of lean manufacturing knowledge and tools
Education& Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 3–5+ years of experience in die-cut product manufacturing/process engineering preferred
- CET-4 or above in English (proficient in reading and writing, with basic speaking skills)
