Role Summary:
1. Lead and drive the execution of Supplier Quality & Development strategies and initiatives to reach business targets.
2. Lead and drive new supplier qualification, new part qualification, supplier development, fast quality issue solving, supplier PPM, high-risk supplier audits and improvements.
Job Responsibilities Description:
1. Provide guidance, coaching to internal factory SQE and external suppliers based on supplier quality mission, supplier quality manual, procedures, standard works, templates, and quality tools.
2. Make and execute annual audit plan focusing on selected suppliers based on last year’s supplier PPM, risk assessment and purchase parts amount.
3. Lead and drive supplier PPM top issues and drive the improvements with mistake-proofing solutions.
4. Perform quality system audit for new supplier qualification.
5. Perform process audit and FAI audit for supplier new part qualification and pilot production.
6. Perform QS audit for high-risk supplier improvement and high-order-quantity supplier annual touch base.
7. Perform on-site supplier quality issue root cause analysis and fast-problem-solving with mistake-proofing solutions and PFMEA&CP update if receive factory SQE’s support request.
8. And other assignments.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Good English speaking and writing.
2. Bachelor’s degree or above.
3. A minimum of 3~5 years’ supplier quality management experience.
4. Normally, two or three business trips per month, about 40% of working time.
5. Self-driven with priority management, Teamwork.
6. Skilled use of MS office, Power BI for quality data analysis, and quality tools such as quality system audit, process audit, PPAP, PFMEA & Control Plan, MSA, SPC, 8D, Mistake Proofing for zero escape, QC7, and so on.
7. Understands management approaches such as scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
