Specific Responsibilities Would Include::
Overall Responsibilities
- 100% Focus on Fabric sourcing
- Wovens and Knits
- Understand the brand requirements for quality, aesthetics and price
- Ensure seamless communication with the design and sourcing teams.
- Understand current trends, interpret them, and provide feedback to the design team.
- Independently coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders across multi-brands and regions, both internally and externally.
- Maintain and develop strong business relationships with fabric mills to ensure a stable and high-quality production supply.
- Proactively support cross-functional tasks with the Raw Material team to optimize sourcing efficiency.
- Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned to support the department’s operational goals.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have::
Additional Requirements
- Design or Textile background (preferred), with a focus on fabric sourcing.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fabric merchandising.
- Familiar with business network systems and effective in their use.
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent and fluent English ability
