Your Job
- Independently develop complete mechanical solutions and select appropriate components for various custom fixtures and tooling, including assembly fixtures, inspection fixtures, positioning fixtures, and auxiliary production tooling, based on mass production requirements and manufacturing conditions.

Proficiently use CAD and SolidWorks to perform 3D modeling and 2D engineering drawings for tooling and fixtures, including dimensioning, tolerance analysis, material selection, and standard component selection. Generate complete design documentation, including assembly drawings, part drawings, and BOMs, ensuring all drawings comply with standards, contain accurate parameters, and are ready for fabrication and production.

Continuously improve and upgrade existing fixtures and tooling based on production data, manufacturing feedback, new process requirements, and new product introductions. Optimize outdated or inefficient tooling by simplifying operations, improving compatibility with automation, and reducing reliance on manual labor.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Manufacturing, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience. Experience in fixture design, tooling design, or non-standard equipment design is preferred.

Proficient in CAD and SolidWorks mechanical design software. Familiar with machining, sheet metal fabrication, and injection molding processes.

Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), mechanical principles, and material properties. Familiar with fixture design principles, including locating, clamping, error-proofing (Poka-Yoke), and manufacturing support applications.
