Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental or Occupational Safety and health field or equivalent EHS experience.
3+ years’ experience in heavy manufacturing (welding, machining, Painting) preferred
Good oral and written English skills
Adequate dedicated time on the shop floor, ability to communicate with operators
Demonstrated leadership skills to make and accelerate changes in safe manner and embrace positive safety culture
Problem solving skills - able to lead team to determine root cause and develop practical solutions
Willing to immediately stop production and/or any unsafe acts witnessed on site
Openness in reporting issues and encouraging others to report
Perform other duties as assigned by EHS manager
