Quality Technician - Your Future Position?
As a Quality Technician in our Taste & Wellbeing Division, you will further strengthen our quality management system and enhance our ability to control quality throughout the entire process—from raw materials to finished products
In this exciting role you will:
Quality System and Food Safety Management

Participate in quality system audits (such as ISO22000 and HACCP), assist in completing internal and external audit activities, and ensure the implementation of audit corrective actions. Conduct regular quality training sessions to enhance food safety awareness and quality control capabilities among department staff and frontline production personnel.

Strengthen food safety risk prevention and control, identify potential food safety hazards in various links such as production, inspection, and storage (including biological, chemical, and physical contamination), develop and implement targeted preventive measures, conduct regular food safety risk assessments and post-event reviews, and ensure compliance with national food safety laws and industry standards.

Monitor the latest regulations related to food and food-contact materials (such as GB 2760, GB 30616, etc.) to ensure product compliance.
Laboratory Analysis and Testing

Responsible for quality control throughout the entire lifecycle of our products, covering raw material incoming inspection, production process inspection, and finished product outgoing inspection, ensuring that product quality meets food-grade standards and the company's internal control requirements.

Chromatographic Analysis (a core skill): Proficiently operate analytical instruments such as gas chromatographs (GC), and responsible for determining the content of main components in fragrance raw materials and finished products, analyzing residual solvents, and conducting purity tests.

Responsible for routine physicochemical tests (such as acid value, peroxide value, refractive index, relative density, etc.).

Establish and optimize a quality control system for food-grade flavors and fragrances, refine inspection standards and SOPs, promote standardization and regularization of quality control processes, and enhance the efficiency of quality control.
Sensory Evaluation (one of the core skills)

Organize and participate in sensory evaluations of raw materials and finished products (including aroma and taste tests) and identify and assess any unusual flavors.

For any abnormal data or flavor defects detected, collaborate with the production and R&D departments to analyze the root causes and follow up on corrective actions.

Participate in the onboarding review of new suppliers and the annual performance evaluation of existing suppliers, with a particular focus on food safety risks associated with raw materials.

Assist in handling customer complaints regarding quality issues, especially those involving abnormal flavors or discrepancies in physicochemical indicators; prepare 8D reports or PDCA corrective action reports.

Your professional profile includes:

Bachelor's degree or above in Food Science and Engineering, Food Safety, Analytical Chemistry, Bioengineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in quality management within the food, flavor & fragrance, or related ingredient industries.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in fragrance and flavor manufacturing, food additives, or quality assurance at large food companies.

Food Safety Awareness: Familiar with ISO 22000, HACCP, and other food quality management systems; candidates with experience in system auditing and quality improvement are preferred. Proficient in physicochemical and microbiological testing methods, with the ability to operate various analytical instruments skillfully.

Deeply understand the compliance requirements for food enterprises, and be familiar with key aspects of allergen management, foreign-object control, and microbial monitoring.

Chromatography experience (preferred): Proficient in the operation, maintenance, and data analysis of gas chromatography (GC); able to independently analyze chromatograms. Experience with liquid chromatography (HPLC) or mass spectrometry (MS) is a plus.

Sensory Evaluation Experience (Preferred): Highly sensitive to smell and taste, possessing basic sensory evaluation skills, and familiar with fundamental statistical methods used in sensory analysis.

Possesses strong data analysis skills and report-writing abilities.

Rigorous and meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility, possessing excellent problem-analysis and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication, coordination, and execution abilities. Adhering firmly to principles, able to carry out quality control work strictly according to standards and prevent non-compliant practices. Equipped with the ability to identify issues and drive their resolution.

Able to adapt to the pace of factory work and possess a spirit of teamwork; strong cross-departmental communication and coordination skills.
