As a Manager of Government Relations at Honeywell, you will support the company’s engagement with China’s central government, trade associations, and industry stakeholders. In this role, you will help advance the company’s policy priorities, monitor and navigate regulatory developments, and contribute to building and maintaining relationships with government officials and key stakeholders.
You will report directly to our Senior Director of Government Relations China and work out of Beijing office on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will contribute to Honeywell’s ability to navigate regulatory environments, stay informed on legislative developments, and support advocacy for policies that enable innovation and growth in China. By helping to build relationships with government stakeholders and policymakers, you will play a key part in representing Honeywell’s interests and maintaining the company’s engagement in relevant policy discussions.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree or above in International Relations, Economics, Law, or related areas.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in government relations or public affairs.
- Strong understanding of government practices, public policy issues, and regulatory frameworks.
- Solid experience engaging with key central ministries, such as MOFCOM, NDRC, MIIT, MOF, and other relevant agencies.
- Demonstrated capability in policy research and analysis.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage tight timelines, and operate independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Senior Director of Government Relations in China in developing and executing strategies related to central government engagement and thought leadership initiatives.
- Build and maintain relations with government officials, trade associations, foreign embassies in China, and industry stakeholders to promote Honeywell Automation.
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the company.
- Assist in crisis response efforts and help mitigate regulatory and operational risks arising from policy and regulatory changes.
- Organize and coordinate major government-organized events and expo (e.g., China International Import Expo and Davos), including arranging and supporting senior leadership participation in government meetings and side events.
- Communicate updates on legislative and regulatory issues internally, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership.
