Watts China is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to support commercial, who is: 1) a key bridge between finance and business, provides in-depth analysis to deliver financial insights, decision-making support, performance management and Risk & Opportunities identification; 2) The key finance-in charge to deliver reporting, forecasting and budgeting for China Sales; 3) A major role to improve the process continuously.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Financial analysis & decision support

Provide deep financial analysis, incl. insights on revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow, etc.

Support decision-making by developing financial models, forecasts, and scenarios analysis.

Identify financial risks and opportunities and propose actionable recommendations.
Budgeting & forecasting

Assist in preparing annual budgets and long-term financial plans.

Regularly update rolling forecasts

Analyze variances between actual performance and budgets, providing explanations and recommendations.
Business performance evaluation

Regularly assess the financial performance, identifying key drivers and potential issues.

Deliver analysis reports on KPIs and financial metrics to help optimize operational efficiency.

Support financial evaluation and ROI analysis for new products, markets or projects.
Cross-functional collaboration

Work closely with sales, marketing, operations and other functions to ensure alignment.

Facilitate communication and collaboration between finance and the business unit to ensure smooth information flow.
Process optimization & system support

Identify and drive improvements in financial & business processes.

Support the implementation and enhancement of financial or business tools to improve efficiency.
EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting/Finance from a recognized university.

Professional qualifications such as CPA, CIMA, CMA are preferred.
MANAGEMENT:
QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 10 years post-qualification working experience with at least 3 years in business support role.

Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights, reversely to quantify the financial impacts with business assumptions.

Proficient financial modeling and analytical skills, with familiarity in ERP system, Power BI, Hyperion, Microsoft Excel or other tools generally applied.

Excellent communication and influencing skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization.
