Collaborate with the Smart Solution Development Team to design, develop, and implement smart platforms for lab automation projects.
Support the Research and development activities of image processing, machine learning, or machine vision algorithms based on laboratory application scenarios.
Assist in the design and construction of laboratory image processing and machine vision system platforms.
Assist in coding, testing, and debugging software applications to ensure high-quality and efficient solutions.
Programming with 6-axis collaborative robotic arms, or xyz platforms. Prototype and design user-friendly tools for researchers.
Assist in the setup of automated equipment in the lab.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance smart processes.
Support the integration of new technologies and tools to optimize lab operations.
Document project progress and maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Automation, Robotic Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Mechatronics or Computer Science or a related field.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript or C++.
Familiarity with automation tools and platforms is a plus.
Experience in creating a platform with multiple devices via Python with a User-friendly user interface (GUI) is a plus.
Familiarity with communication protocols, such as Modbus, TCP/IP etc.
Programming skills in PLC is a plus.
Experience in image processing development, familiarity with the OpenCV algorithm library, knowledge of machine learning applications in image processing, and experience with common image segmentation and object detection algorithms are preferred.
Experience in building / using laboratory automation systems is preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
Optional experience Participate in machine learning projects, including data processing and building predictive models to further enhance lab automation and smart solutions.
