In this role, you will be responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Control of Apple’s OEM factories. You will mainly focus on in-process quality control and drive cross-functional teams' failure analysis (FA) end-to-end.","responsibilities":"Interface with Apple/OEM cross-functional teams and TPMs to set up in-process quality control documentation, audit checklists, in-process quality tests, and resolve any in-process quality-related issues.
Ensure Quality Management Systems (QMS) adherence, development, implementation, procedures, and any related quality activities.
Drive improvements in QMS, quality tools, and techniques.
Recommend and implement appropriate corrective actions to resolve quality excursions.
Review quality trends and drive improvement plans to reduce defects.
Use quality tools and techniques to analyze and improve quality and productivity.
Conduct audits to determine if the OEM quality systems are adequate.
Coordinate and standardize OEM quality across all facilities.
Continuously improve technical support within the quality organizations.
Formulate, implement, and improve consistent quality procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced statistical process controls and data-driven analysis (statistics, reliability, sampling, and auditing).
Proficient in analysis process tools and software (JMP, MiniTab, 6 Sigma, SPC, etc.).
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer, or 6-Sigma Black/Green belt.
Minimum Qualifications
BS or MS degree with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience.
Experience working in high volume consumer electronic products in a design, manufacturing, or product/test engineering role.
Working knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001 / 14001 / VDA6.3, etc.).Experience in in-process quality control.
