- Select and develop distributors who are ambitious with growing together with Gates and can really align with Gates China growth objectives
- Establish and improve the distributor network in the assigned region and or industries under the overall Gates China FP distributor development strategy
- Set performance matrix for distributors, e.g. revenue, assigned territory, loyalty, conversion plan/rate, to Gates product offerings.
- Assess distributors’ actual performance on a regular basis and work with distributors on improvement plan
- Team Management of the whole team, drive team goals achievement and improvement.
- Align and work with internal resources, e.g. product application, to provide the best field application and technical support to distributors to grow the business
- Work with internal functions to provide support on logistics and quality
- Provide market intelligence, e.g. industry trend, competition, new product/application
- Other work assigned by the supervisor.
- Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own areas and knowledge of other areas
- Manages a generally homogeneous team; adapts plans and sets priorities to meet goals
- Has performance management and people development responsibility for managers or associates
- Provides subject matter guidance to associates, colleagues and/or customers
- Bachelor degree of engineering.
- 6-10 years of sales and marketing experience within a B2B environment managing distribution business, 3 years as Sales Manager, preferably from similar industries or industries servicing similar kinds of customers/end-users.
- Team management experience.
- Conduct efficient communication with customers.
- English proficient both verbal and written.
- High level of code of ethics and integrity.
