Mission:
The Hospitality Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for orchestrating and elevating the in-store client journey through exceptional event execution and bespoke experience design. He/she drives retail marketing initiatives within the boutique, creates a unique sense of ceremony for the XTD store, and develops strategic external partnerships to enhance brand visibility and client acquisition. This role ensures the delivery of unparalleled service standards and fosters long-term client loyalty.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) In-Store Event & Retail Marketing Leadership (35%)
- Spearhead the planning, coordination, and execution of all in-store events, exhibitions, and client activations, aligning with brand strategy and retail marketing objectives. Act as the key liaison with the corporate Event Team, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event integration and promotion.
- Manage the Event calendar, logistics, vendor coordination, and post-event analysis to ensure flawless execution and maximum impact.
- Design and implement event concepts that enhance product storytelling, drive traffic, and create memorable brand experiences.
2) Signature Client Experience & Ceremony Design (30%)
- Develop and implement a distinctive, tailored client journey and sense of ceremony unique to the SHXTD boutique for both clients and VIPs.
- Conceptualize and standardize "wow moment" rituals (e.g., product unveiling, marriage proposal, celebration) to elevate the luxury service experience.
- Collaborate closely with the CRM team to design and execute exclusive private events (e.g., previews, master workshops, anniversary, birthday, private salon tea gathering) for clients, leveraging data insights to deepen emotional connections and brand loyalty.
- Continuously gather client feedback and market insights to innovate and refresh the in-store experience.
3) Partnership Development & Client Acquisition (25%)
- Proactively develop and manage strategic relationships with external partners to drive new business and enhance the boutique's ecosystem.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the landlord (Xintiandi management) for co-marketing initiatives, mall events, and operational coordination.
- Identify, initiate, and nurture partnerships with third-party luxury brands (e.g., luxury cars, private banks, high-end hotels) for cross-promotion, joint events, and client referral programs.
- Collaborate with the CRM team to integrate partner networks and leverage new channels for client development.
4) Hospitality Operations & Team Support (10%)
- Oversee daily hospitality operations to ensure the highest service standards and efficient workflow. Supervise the hospitality staff and concierge desk service, ensuring brand standards are met.
- Handle client inquiries and complaints with professionalism and urgency.
- Support boutique management with budgeting, reporting, compliance, and ad-hoc projects as required.
