Test Engineer
I. Position Summary
The position is responsible for daily testing task, equipment maintenance, report review, new method development according to Lab standard operating procedure in a manner which meets TÜV-SÜD quality and HSE guidelines to ensure the testing service meet the timelines with high quality .
II. Job Responsibilities (starting from verbs, with % of time spent on specific tasks)
1. Complete daily testing task with high efficiency and quality according to approved procedures and SOP’s to ensure the testing data accuracy without delay ; (30%)
2. Make effectively use of testing equipment and maintain them properly and correctly with reference to the work instructions to sustain productivity at high level ; (20%)
3. Maintain the technical records and QC Chart during the operation timely with good code of conduct(COC) by following the work instructions ; (10%)
4. Establish new analytical methods with reference to standard methods or develop other in-house-methods with the cooperation of technical persons; Proactively provide detailed proposals to supervisor on improving existing method or testing procedure to optimize process ; (10%)
5. Be responsible for report review to ensure data accuracy, and summarize the common mistakes and take necessary actions to avoid future similar mistakes ; (10%)
6. Assist lab supervisor to enhance the technical skills of team members ; (10%)
7. Report to lab supervisor in time when any unexpected phenomenon or results occurred in daily testing ; (5%)
8. I mplement HSE according to lab procedures and 5S in working place. (5%)
III. Job Requirements (knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, etc.)
1. Bachelor degree or above in field of chemistry, or relevant field;
2. At least 4-year year experience in analytical chemistry testing;
3. Familiar with Formaldehyde emission, 、 VOC content ( Bag method 、 chamber method )、 AZO 、 and heavy metal element testing
4. Hands-on skills for operation and maintenance of HPLC , TD- GC/MS, UV/VIS, ICP/OES or other analytical instruments;
5 . Diligence, self-motivation and strong teamwork spirit; able to work under pressure;
6 . Good command of English.
