Qualifications
- Educational Background: Ph.D. in environmental science and engineering, computer science, materials science, data science, sustainability, carbon economics, civil engineering, urban planning, energy, or a related discipline.
- Research Excellence: A proven track record of high-impact, peer-reviewed publications in top-tier international journals within the specified fields, alongside active engagement in academic conferences and events.
- Funding Potential: Strong capability or demonstrated potential to secure competitive external research grants from government and industry bodies.
- Teaching Capability: Demonstrated capacity to design and deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses, lead specialized training programs for industrial partners, and provide effective research supervision to students.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across diverse academic departments and support the institutional development.
- Interpersonal Excellence: Outstanding interpersonal skills, characterized by an empathetic and supportive approach to mentoring students and collaborating with a diverse academic community.
- Language Proficiency: Full professional fluency in written and spoken English is required. Competency in Mandarin Chinese and/or Cantonese is considered a distinct advantage.
Remuneration Package
- Highly competitive pay and benefit package (on a case-by-case basis) including basic salary, housing allowance, and additional bonuses based on scientific/teaching achievements;
