The team is responsible for deployment of the enterprise cloud. The enterprise cloud enables all the IC3/Teams/Cosmic/Substrate services, ranging from large-scaled mature services like Teams/Skype backend to the various small incubation services.
You will have opportunities to work with diverse IC3 (Intelligent Communication and Conversation Cloud) service teams, Substrate and Cosmic platform team. You’re responsible for delivering high available and scalable systems to support fast and reliable special cloud provisioning requests. You will be challenged by conflicting eco systems and differing support. You will be challenged by fast-changing developments in available technology. You will be challenged by partners clinging to tried-and-true workflows.
As a software development engineer on the team you will be responsible for implementing features end to end. We use multiple technologies and frameworks. Distributed computation, high-scale, high availability, geo-redundancy, low-touch are all aspects that our features need to be designed with in mind.
Required qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in developing & creating platforms and services.
- Strong proficiency in C# or Java backend development or Web development
- Excellent design, coding, debugging and problem solving skills.
- Solid technical aptitude and take initiative, and must be result driven.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with at least one complete ship cycle of a commercial product
- A BS/MS in computer science or related field.
