The ME Manager is responsible for defining and executing the plant manufacturing engineering strategy to support business growth, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
This role leads manufacturing engineering, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, productivity, and cost competitiveness, while building a strong engineering team and continuous improvement culture aligned with plant strategic goals.
Manufacturing Engineering Strategy & Governance
- Define and execute the plant manufacturing engineering strategy aligned with business and operational objectives.
- Establish functional KPIs, roadmaps, and action plans to support plant strategic goals.
- Govern engineering standards, manufacturing procedures, process design, and technical discipline across the plant.
Automation, CI & Project Leadership
- Lead automation, Industry 4.0, digitalization, and cost-out initiatives to improve productivity and quality.
- Oversee annual engineering and continuous improvement project planning, budgeting, execution, and progress reviews.
- Ensure on-time delivery of plant automation, NPI, STP, and VAVE projects.
Manufacturing Capability & Process Excellence
- Lead PFMEA analysis, error-proofing design, DFM enhancement, SOP optimization, and fixture improvement.
- Drive plant capacity planning and layout optimization to support changing business needs.
- Support and ensure effective implementation of Eaton operating systems and quality systems (e.g. EBS, OPA, MESH, BIQS)
People Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the manufacturing engineering team to build functional capability and succession pipelines.
- Foster a strong operations culture focused on safety, quality, continuous improvement, and accountability.
- Provide regular feedback, performance management, and career development support to team members.
