PRIMARY PURPOSE:
1. Design LLCR, Temperature - Rise, Intermittent Discontinuity test PCBs and test fixtures for connector & cable assembly validation
2. Fixture mechanical structure design, prototype verification and design optimization for lab test applications.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide high-quality PCB and fixture solutions for product testing and validation with test engineer or other customer.
2. Design the PCB and fixture required according to the integrated testing system development plan.
3. Improve existing test PCB and fixture, provide proposal design for possible improvement, to provide more accurate and stable test data.
4. Leads the PCB and fixture design review meeting; ensures the manufacturing feasibility.
5. Prepares fabrication details for test PCB and fixture to assist for outside fabrication and tracks their fabrication progress.
6. Leads the PCB and fixture acceptance and verification (including critical dimensions review, functional verification ... ) until the PCB and fixture are qualified and transfer to test team.
7. Evaluate the feasibility of 3D printing to build suitable fixture or product model for customer.
8. Continuously monitor and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance design efficiency and quality.
9. To carry out special assignments/projects as and when assigned by his/her supervisor.

EDUCATION:
REQUIRED: College or above, major in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
PREFERRED: Majored in Mechanical Design
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- 3 years of hardware / test fixture design working experience
- Hands - on experience on connector test board or fixture development
PREFERRED:
- Familiar with connector, cable assembly product validation.
- Practical experience on LLCR, temperature - rise, discontinuity test hardware.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium - Designer or equivalent), 2D/3D mechanical CAD software.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Windows / MS Office applications.
- Good understanding of connector electrical test principle (LLCR, temperature - rise, intermittent discontinuity).
- English communication skills, reading and writing.
PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of MSA, tolerance analysis
- Experience with lab test hardware debug and validation
- Good skills in Speaking English
