Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Strategy & Technical Leadership
- Define and own the overall test strategy for new product introduction (NPI) and series production
- Establish test architecture, coverage principles, and technical standards for PSM, UPS, and PCBA (ICT / FCT) testing
- Review and validate test concepts, specifications, and risk assessments
2. New Product Test Development (NPI)
- Lead the specification, development, and qualification of new test benches (hardware & software)
- Coordinate with R&D, industrialization, and suppliers to ensure test solutions are on time, on cost, and on quality
- Ensure test readiness at key NPI milestones
3. Team Management & Functional Governance
- Line-manage NPI Test Engineers: objective setting, technical coaching, and performance follow-up
- Provide functional guidance and technical alignment to test engineers in different China factories (dotted-line)
- Develop team competencies in hardware, software, automation, and test methodologies
4. Standardization & Continuous Improvement
- Drive standardization of test platforms, software frameworks, and test processes across sites
- Lead improvement projects focused on test efficiency, reliability, yield improvement, and cost reduction
- Promote best practice sharing between factories
5. Process, Quality & Documentation
- Ensure test-related deliverables comply with industrial and quality systems (PFMEA, Control Plan, WI, SOP)
- Support quality teams in failure analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective actions
- Ensure calibration management, data traceability, and test result integrity
6. Cross-functional & Supplier Collaboration
- Act as key test interface with R&D, Method Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and EMS partners
- Manage external test equipment suppliers and technical subcontractors
- Support factory ramp-up, audits, and critical issue resolution when needed
Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of electronics and electrical testing principles
- Proven experience with PCBA test technologies (ICT, FCT)
- Test hardware and software development or architecture exposure (LabVIEW, TestStand, C#, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with industrial instruments (oscilloscope, power supply, DMM, etc.)

Overall Candidate Profile
1. Strong knowledge of electronics and electrical testing principles
2. Hardware strength in electronics fundamentals and PCBA test technologies.
3. Software capability in test application development (C#, LabVIEW, TestStand).
4. Manufacturing experience, especially 10 years in electronics or electrical industry test engineering. Understanding of test jigs, fixtures, and production test equipment used in manufacturing
5. Hands on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, programmable power supplies and other measurement instruments
6. Process and quality system proficiency, including PFMEA, Control Plan, WI/SOP creation.
7. Soft skills such as communication, RCA problem-solving, time management, and English proficiency.
8. Bachelor’s degree or above in electronics, electrical, mechatronics, or automation.
9. English proficiency (reading, writing, communication).
10. Solid exposure to NPI projects and multi-site manufacturing environments
11. Travel to China manufacturing sites and key suppliers
12. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-project industrial environment
