The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled APAC Insurance Manager to support our regional insurance and risk management activities across a dynamic and rapidly evolving business landscape. This role reports to ADM’s Director of Insurance & Risk Management and is ideal for professionals who thrive in a multinational environment, enjoy partnering with diverse stakeholders, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
Your Responsibilities:
Strategic Risk Transfer & Risk Management

Identify, assess, and recommend appropriate risk transfer and risk management solutions that address business needs and emerging risks across the APAC region, while aligning with ADM’s global strategy

Collaborate closely with subject-matter experts (SMEs) on various insurance lines to evaluate renewal documents, contracts, and insurance-related due diligence

Participate actively in regional meetings on risk management and emerging risks, providing insights and actionable recommendations based on industry best practices
Operational Execution & Administration

Support post-renewal administration, ensuring timely issuance of insurance documents, endorsements, and premium payments

Maintain an accurate and well-organized premium payment and insurance documentation database
Claims Management

Manage claims across multiple insurance lines in coordination with program claim coordinators, ensuring timely follow-up and reimbursement
Stakeholder Partnership

Provide daily guidance to internal departments, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies on risk transfer and risk management matters for existing and new projects

Advise project and financing teams on risk terms and obligations for potential ventures or emerging risks to support accurate budgeting and financial planning

Identify contractual risk transfer gaps, highlight exposures, and ensure compliance with contractual insurance requirements by all relevant contracting parties
Special Projects & Support

Assist the department head and SMEs with the implementation of insurance programs and any special or ad-hoc projects as required
Your Profile:

Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited university; a law degree or professional insurance qualification is preferred

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in insurance and risk management within a multinational environment

Strong ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment

Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, multicultural setting

Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills

Experience with multinational insurance programs strongly preferred; exposure to the commodity or agricultural sector is an advantage

Fluent in English (written and verbal)
