MISSION
In one or two sentences, outline the primary purpose(s) of this position within the organization
The Lab Engineer is responsible to set-up and performs fuel tank & SCR testing and inspection.
For assigned programs, he is in charge of the validation schedule, cost and deliverables.
He/she has to support the standardization of procedures and means, develop and share expertise within POAI.
He/she has to follow company safety procedure and always wear required PPE during work in company
Responsibilities & Activities
Outline the key areas of responsibility for this position, including the related activities and eventual authorities
Responsibility 1: Fuel tank & SCR validation execution
Schedule, prepare and perform or sub-contract tests and inspection according to the DVPR
Design and kick off specific jigs & tools and chassis
Test samples & attachment reception and incoming check.
Must prioritize testing needs and maintain documented daily productive schedule
Checks for reproducibility, accuracy, and precision of data
Reviews testing results in a timely manner and prepares reports
Support the PAE in their activity, analyze test requests and report any issue or discrepancy with POAI procedure
Direct technician & operator work in case of the test need technician &operator supporting, take final responsibility.
Responsibility 2: test request & benchmark & other supporting
Perform individual test request, benchmark project based on lab work arrangement.
Support on site trouble shooting in customer side in case of need.
Oversees the performance of advance diagnosis and repair of test and measurement equipment and software
Support for equipment regular maintenance & calibration based on lab work arrangement
Support CCC/ ECE test and certification.
Flexible to support proto activities to balance workload.
Responsibility 3: quality system management
Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
Support and follow the POAI quality system: test data & equipment usage record & document management.
Suggest, supervises or support the design or the modification of test equipment / procedures to meet new customer request or improve quality, reduce cost and time.
Assists in training new associates within the department.
Responsibility 4: Safety
Be sure to comply with company safety procedure, no accident. (PPE, LOTO)
Be aware of equipment & utility safety, maintain and run equipment in safe condition, inform equipment engineer & management in case of risk.
Daily 5S after test & TSV in daily working
He/she have authority to stop machines in case of immediate risk.
Consciously accept safety training, actively participate in safety activities and comply with safety regulations;
Report unsafe status and behaviors in time, and actively participate in safety improvement.
Must comply with all safety rules and regulations.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Personal Background
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering & Material Engineering or equivalent discipline
3~5 year experience at least in similar environment
Job Technical skills
Professional English verbal and written communication skills
Fuel system & SCR testing knowledge
Measurement system analysis and calibration knowledge
Good understanding of development and quality process
Good knowledge of Fuel System Design and SCR system
Understanding of development and quality process IATF 16949, ISO 17025
Ability to collect, maintain and analyze data.
Good understanding of common technologies used in metrology, manufacturing
Ability to read drawing, understanding of GD&T
Computer efficient in Microsoft Office and Project.
Job Soft skills
Communication skill (local and foreigners)
Must be able to manage time and determine priorities.
Ability to troubleshoot and provide corrective action.
Safety mindset, about daily working and equipment operation.
